Before I even sat down, I noticed the dirty chairs and felt compelled to take a picture and share my experience. The restaurant really needs to have a thorough cleaning. They have a fixed price menu and customers can select as many items as they want, but the portions are more like tapas. The cleanliness of the restaurant really needs to be improved. I didn't feel safe dining there, especially with the current Covid situation.
This restaurant offers excellent value for lunch. They have lunch specials including two rolls with soup and salad for $8.99, or three rolls with soup and salad for $11.99. They also offer a dinner special where you can get any two of the chef's special rolls and receive a third one for free. Additionally, you can use a coupon to get $5 off a purchase of $30. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a modern feel. I would definitely come back again.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were not greeted for a while. A waitress eventually took our drink orders and requested our menus. Unsure of what she meant by "papers," we glanced at the menu to fill out our order. The waitress didn't speak much English, causing some confusion with pricing. It would be wise for future customers to study the menu before ordering. However, once the food arrived, it was delicious and well-prepared. The quality of the food really stood out. They charged us for items we didn't consume, so we recommend ordering smaller portions to avoid unnecessary charges. Despite some issues with the service, we still enjoyed the meal.
I haven't been to this restaurant in over a year, so I went there for dinner with some coworkers. The portion sizes were noticeably smaller than before. The salmon dish I ordered was literally only a few bites and the quality was lacking. All three of us ordered the same dish and were disappointed. My bill was much lower than the others, but the small portions made me think that the restaurant may not be doing well. I don't plan on returning.
My daughter-in-law wanted to eat here for her birthday. I had never been to a Sushi Fuji before. Diners fill out order sheets based on menu item numbers. A diner can order as many times as they want. The menu has quite a variety of rolls: cooked rolls, raw fish rolls, veggie rolls and special rolls. There are also tempura, teriyaki, hibachi and katsu choices. Soups and salads, stir fried egg noodle combos and fried rice are available too. The 5 people I was with all ordered various combinations of rolls and sushi. They looked good but seemed to be a bit short on the fillings. Since I’m on a low card diet, I didn’t want all the rice so I ordered a fried shrimp, a couple of egg rolls and the beef. I wasn’t impressed with any of the items. The prices are very reasonable and the service was very good. Food was brought back quickly after each order form was picked up. I, personally, wouldn’t go to another Fuji Sushi. My daughter-in-law and her family like the place though.
