The ambience is picturesque and wonderful. The kitchen is amazing and always makes me happy. This is a great place to go with friends, family or a nice quiet date. I can talk about this restaurant all day, but if you go there to see that it speaks for itself.
That was my first visit to Modu Ramen. The Gyoza, chicken and Kimchi pancakes were very good. We have a high spice tolerance so that the rams were not spicy enough for us, but it was still good. The flavors were not as deep as I expected, but it was still a good first experience. There was an additional fee as we are a family of 7. It was an additional $25 above on the meal price.
Amazing flavorful ramen. We had the tonkotsu and tantanmen. Both broths were flavorful, the pork was tender and delicious, plenty of house made noodles and toppings. Excellent service. Would recommend if you?re craving ramen.
We stopped in for an early dinner and it was dead besides the take out orders coming in. Service was great since we were the only people in the place. One of the things that drew us in is they make their noodles in house. Looks like they are doing some remodeling in the back by the restrooms. We got the honey wings to start and they weren't the best wings I've had but they weren't bad. I think they use panko breading on them which I like but they were just ok. I probably wouldn't order them again since there were other things on the app menu I wanted to try. I had the tonkotsu ramen add corn with mild+ level of spice. The broth is very flavorful and rich but not super thick. Mild+ was just a little less spicy than I like but I'm cautious, learned my lesson more than a few times. The chashu was prepared very good like they charred it and that added a delicious flavor to the mix. My only complaint is that they put a ton of shaved scallions on it. You can see them in the photo. After one bite I picked them all out. That's way too many scallions Wife had the lemon ramen and despite having lemon slices in the bowl, the lemon flavor is not over powering. She mostly enjoyed it but didn't like the breaded chicken. The breading soaks up the broth and begins to fall off. Hers also had a lot of scallions which she picked out. The broth is pretty good and was a change of taste for me after my rich tonkotsu. There were other things on the menu I wanted to try so we'll be back.
The spiciest level of the Rarms was not quite sharp enough, but the taste and the atmosphere were definitely there! Service was fast and friendly and they have great Japanese beer options.
