Los Toros Mexican - Jacksonville

Mexican places in Jacksonville have a hard time competing with La Nopalera but this place can stand on it own among the competition. It's really good! The food comes out fast and the service is great. I came here for lunch with co-workers and it came out fast so we weren't late getting back to work like we sometimes are when going to La Nop. The atmosphere isn't the greatest but if you can look past that and just enjoy the food, you'll be back.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. I'm super picky about Mexican food. The food here is far superior to most other Mexican restaurants in Jax.

Not great. the positive were excellent service and fresh chips - good salsa. I ordered vegetarian fajitas and it was rough instead of fajita vegetables.

Now I have to say that I was disappointed in the service and food quality. Not much taste, the chicken quesadilla was not very good and.

Order the Chile Colorado via Door Dash. It had a great taste and a lot of spice. When I added the meal to my shopping cart in the app, it asked if I wanted additional chips or additional salsa that was an additional 2-2.50. I didn't add that because ?extra? implies that it would be added and chips would be provided as they are usually, and I was disappointed that the order arrived without the chips. I just feel like people know when they order, so they will be sure to add the additional chips and salsa to their order because the meal does not feel completely without the chips and salsa. Apart from that, it was very good and my daughter enjoyed her Burrito.
