This is the only one in town that still has a spinach quesadilla on the menu. 4 of us ate and the total bill was $30! I split the fajita with my mom and we both had enough to take home for lunch the next day as well. The parking lot is tiny so parking is usually a hassle but we went early and so there were still parking spots. Otherwise you usually have to park down the street in Panera's parking lot and walk over. The service hasn't been that great lately but it's worth it for the food. They should just really think about remodeling.
The food is excellent, and Mexican staff are very quick with service. Margaritas and large beers are good value. Varied menu real Mexican food, not just Tex Mex. Try it!
I am fascinated by this site. Is one of the best places to eat in Jacksonville. All food tastes good, and aside from that majority of the people speak Spanish. I recommend this place. Has low prices and is, really, incredible.
I have eaten at La Nop several times. Its delicious, authentic Mexican food and unbeatable prices have gained this restaurant the reputation of being one of the best (if not THE best) Mexican restaurant in Jax. I love eating there. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking it up.
La Nopalera has been voted the best Mexican in Jacksonville for the last 3 years. It is delicious! The location isn't the best. There is next enough parking so people end up parking in any free space available. The building is also a little shady. The walls and floors are always dirty but if you can look past that, you won't be disappointed with the food. The prices aren't bad either for the amount you get. We always have enough for lunch the next day.
