Fujiyama - Jacksonville

My family ate here on a Sunday at the end of October 2022 during the late lunch hour. Our Sky server was spectacular! He had a cheerful counting, encouraged interaction and entertained his audience with perfection. This dinning experience is what EVERY should be culinary experience. The service was superior from the beginning to the end. Here you will find a clean restaurant, convenient service, professional staff and great food! There was much to choose on the menu and the prices were appropriate.

I came to lunch Sunday. Really graceful. The atmosphere was great. The clear soup was good. Ginger Salat was also beautiful. The dressing was a little different in taste than what I'm used to. I ordered the Madame Butterfly roll and yellowtail sashimi. I used the yam sauce. The service was also really good. My friend ordered the chicken Hibachi. My daughter had the subordination of fried rice. I definitely want to come back here in the future and try out more items in the menu.

We went for hibachi on a Sunday. They sat us at a table alone and then made us wait and wait and wait until more people showed up to fill the table. (Which would have been fine if they had just told us we had to wait that long. Then, because they don't sell sides of noodles, we ordered a noodle dinner to go with our hibachi. The waitress brought out the yakisoba before we even has a hibachi chef, so ofc it was cold by the time he came. So a little over half an hour after we sit down they decide to start. Then the other people they sat with us decided they didn't want this or that seasoning on their food. We let him know we still wanted it on our food. And again of course he didn't put it on the food. Now the other people at our table had ordered a ton of extra sushi and food and were basically full when the meal started. So a few minutes after the meal started the waitress was at the table bringing us to go containers...You make us wait forever to start and then as soon as your done you rush us off the table because the other people were done. The place was a mess from start to finish.

Everything was quickly and correctly made to order. I never had to ask for a drink refill or a part of my meal. The servers and runners were very attentive. The other employees were cleaning and sanitizing everything.

I can't say a bad word because this sushi is so good every time and it's bright and not dark there like other places. The staff is so sweet, but Dang Sushi is so expensive, but so delicious! Go nowhere else in Oceanway You- other places are NOT fresh or clean. This is the top place!!
