And more especially for places in my own neighborhood but my experience tonight was so disappointing.I ordered(Mediocre)Side salad,$4.50 (warm) beer$5.75 and 3 (pretty tasty)garlic knots.$6Added kids grilled cheese meal to go$6.Total Bill $25? Yes they sell $30 pizza but this math ain't mathin? Then I opened the kids meal. ?Never again.
I have never experienced a more welcoming and genuine vibe from any other kind of restaurant before. Not like this one!Dan was exceptional with helping us figure out what to order since we have never been there before, very patient and kind! What makes the experience even more exceptional is that he made us feel this way just by taking our order over a phone. The food was also fantastic!! We will be returning any time we are in the area and can’t wait to experience being able to actually dine in as well.I 1000% recommend.
The best neighborhood bar and restaurant in Jacksonville’s urban core! Staff is friendly and entertaining, and even if you don’t feel like having pizza, some of their other items are the best on the menu! Try the chicken quesadilla—you won’t regret it.Food: 5/5
I recently became gluten free on top of dairy free for the last six years. I haven't had pizza because the red sauce/tomato based anything, has also bothered me. But after suffering a loss yesterday after a loss last month, I said screw it, let's get pizza. So I googled GF pizzas near me and came across this spot after seeing pizza cave was closed. It was a mile from my house on the good side of 8th Street, so I went to make an order. It wouldn't allow me to order online from their link here, so I called directly. They were able to make a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and pepperoni. I also requested really light red sauce. They said 20 minutes. So we drove in the rain to get there. Found some side street parking. I was told at arrival, it was ready, but come to find out, the pizza maker put peppers instead of pepperoni. I also can't have peppers with my numerous diet restrictions. So it took an additional 10 minutes to make. I asked for water while waiting. I would go there to eat in the future. I'm just glad the lady caught it before we left. The GF pizza is a thin crust, NY style pizza. The vegan cheese is okay. I'm still getting used to it myself. I'm just glad the sauce was there to almost hide some of the taste. Made sure to take a tums and pepcid to save me from the red sauce. All in all, the pizza was good. When I'm in the mood again in the future, I'll definitely stop by this spot.Vegetarian options: They offer gluten free and dairy free pizzaParking: Side street parking only. I'm sure it's difficult to find during the day. It was after 5 and raining on a Monday. So not difficult at the time.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free and dairy free options.
