I wasn’t a fan of the sweet tea, so I asked for a Coke instead. However, when the bill came, I saw that we were charged for both the sweet tea and the Coke, in addition to my wife’s drink. When I inquired about the three $1.99 charges, the server told me it was for the three drinks we had ordered. I had to clarify that I wanted the Coke as a replacement for the sweet tea because I didn’t like it. Although she eventually removed the charge, she didn’t seem happy about it. I was surprised that I had to explain my preference when I had clearly mentioned that I didn’t enjoy the sweet tea.
