Bono's Pit -b-q - Jacksonville

Great food with good sized portions. My family of 4 can share 2 three meat platters with a couple of extra sides. We get appetizers and sometimes dessert (good cookies).The service is quick and pays attention to the needs of the patrons. The restaurant is clean with plenty of room.

We have been going to this Bonos for years because it feels like home. Wait staff is very attentive even when only one waitress is on duty. Service is sometimes slow, but totally worth it because the food is always delicious. My favorite is the large chicken platter because it's always juicy and full of flavor. I pair it with the green beans and mashed sweet potatoes to round out a relatively healthy meal.

The service was really slow. It took over an hour and my wife and I only had salads. Once we got our food it was good.Food: 4/5

This has to be the worst Bono's in Jacksonville Florida. In addition, they forgot to put the two eggs that I ordered in the salad that I paid for....Last, half way through my salad I realized it was a hair in my salad.... please ? have your staff wear hair nets....I will continue to drive by...that Bono's and go to the Bono's on Lane which I never had a problem with food nor customer service.

Ordered at the takeout window. I had the 2 meat salad with turkey and pork. I really enjoyed the turkey but the pork had a lot of fat attached…so I wasn’t feeling that so much. Other than that clean location and the food came out fast. The salad was good and well portioned. Just wish chicken was an option for salads.
