Blume's Grill - Jacksonville

Took a risk on this place being all the way from California. ordered some chili cheese fries and a turkey club. I must say I was impressed. Stacy was extremely nice and welcoming. The cook didn’t really seem to care if he had a job or not but none the less my food was good

I heard the food was good, so I was eagerly waiting my turn in line for my turn. My whole appetite left me, when I heard the lady behind the counter (a white woman) call the paid customer (a black woman) a girl. “Your food is almost ready, girl!”?? This “girl” looks like at least 38 years old. This is 2021 and that is so unbecoming. I went home and made my lunch.

This restaurant has a classic sandwich shop atmosphere, which is a good thing and rare to find nowadays. The prices are affordable and all the food is made fresh to order. My favorite part was walking out of the car and being greeted by the smell of the smoker. If you enjoy a budget-friendly, relaxed dining experience, I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly and I will definitely be ordering from here again.

This restaurant offers breakfast and lunch all day, which I love! I can grab breakfast or order lunch at any time, even at 7 o'clock. The management is top-notch and truly cares about the local community. The service is consistently great, even when new staff members are working. I adore this place.

The owner is very loud and disrespectful. She treats her workers poorly, which is why she has trouble keeping staff. It doesn't seem like they value repeat customers, so I won't be returning as a customer.
