Beach Road Fish House Chicken Dinners

Lunch was fabulous. The place is nicely decorated and is fish house chic. Great place to bring the family for a great meal. So many selections of seafood and chicken. We enjoyed fish on this visit and oysters. Would definitely visit again.

We had a great lunch here. We got the 1/2 fried chicken, Fried chicken livers and gizzards app and the fried Grouper bites appetizer. All were very good!

I have had fried chicken all over the world. The only continent I haven't been to is Africa. I was at Beach Road Chicken several years ago, under the old ownership and the recipes are the same today. The fried chicken here is what I compare all other fried chicken to. I promise you, this is the best fried chicken I have ever had. The seafood is a great addition and also excellent.

My wife and I had a great meal this evening (November 26, 2021) at Beach Road Fish House. We opted to dine outside in the picnic table area. We received great service from Mary who was very knowledgeable about the menu and dining choices as well as extremely attentive to our dining needs. My wife choose the fried fresh Red Snapper which she felt was one of the best seafood meals she has ever enjoyed. I decided upon the Seafood Platter. The platter features a generous serving of Fried Shrimp, Fish Filet, Fried Clams and was rounded out with a perfectly spiced Deviled Crab. Both dinners were accompanied by two side dishes of our choosing. My wife picked their perfect Cole Slaw and Southern Collard Grees which she acclaimed were the best she ever tasted. My sides consisted of two all time standards, French Fries and Cole Slaw. All sides were of generous proportions, well seasoned and perfect companions to a great meal. We reside in Atlanta. Beach Road Chicken Dinners was always our first stop on any trip we previous made to Jacksonville. That tradition is going strong with Beach Road Fish House which is serving up Southern Hospitality along with some of the best seafood dishes in the Southeast. Many thanks to everyone at this great establishment. As a retired practicing trial attorney I feel Beach Road management needs to give Mary a raise for being such a great ambassador of this wonderful restaurant!!!!
