Basil Thai Restaurant Bar

I?ve never had a positive experience here. This experienced however was, by far, the worst. I asked for the garden mix wok with chicken and also an extra serving of beef. The grand total was $20 for this measly meal which had minimal chicken and minimal beef. I called back the restaurant to tell them about how I was charged for two servings of protein and barely got a single serving (if that! . I was told that the owners have cut back on the portions and there was nothing they could do. If this is true, the owners should be ashamed of themselves. Honestly, I do not recommend coming to this place as you will get the equivalent of a $3 meal for a $20 price. The owners clearly care more about giving you the minimal amount of food for the maximum amount of price. Steer clear of this place and go to your local Chinese joint where you can actually get bang for your buck. Shame on those owners for duping the customers like this.

Pad See Ew is one of my favorite Thai dishes and it?s very hit of miss. Compared to the last 10 restaurants I?ve been to in the last 6 years all over the east coast and TX this is the best I?ve had! The waitress informed us that the Drunken Noodle is also delicious! I highly recommend.

Some of the BEST Thai I’ve had. The specialty Lamb Curry is amazing. Staff is friendly, service is quick. Nice patio for outdoor dining. We always come here when we’re visiting Jacksonville. A little on the spicy aide of the scale so order down if you don’t like it that way.

Great place for food! Love the Thai tea and the quality of the food! Best Thai restaurant in town as far as I know of! Recommend this place to everyone who just wants to eat some good food and whoever loves to eat spicy food at their choice level with some alcohol on the side?!?! Who doesn’t love that! I ordered takeout and opted for the House Curry with Chicken, which was tasty. However, the portion size was quite disappointing—more suitable for an elf than for an adult. I felt it was a total rip-off. Additionally, it seemed like they were really understaffed, as there were many empty tables that hadn’t been cleared. I wanted to sit at the bar while waiting for my order, but the nearby tables were dirty and uninviting.
