Vermicelli Vietnamese Cuisine - Jackson

I ordered a small rare beef pho and only got 3 thin, almost shredded, pieces of beef on top of a mound of bean sprouts to make it look good. This is robbery when you pay for overpriced Vietnamese food because you live in a small town. When I called to let them know how I felt about it, they said they would ?put more on next time.? NEXT time?! Not a chance. I will eat my pho in Sacramento where they get the flavor, quality, AND price right. If you?ve never had pho before, don't try this place!

I go there every once and a while with my grammy. she loves it and so do i, great service, food is yummy, and the servers are really friendly. next door is a boba shop for dessert :

Arrived on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023 for lunch. Door was locked. Read the hours posted on the door and checked my watch. Around 12 noon. So we are not early or late. Looked inside and no one around and looked closed. Another couple approached the door, I said Looks like they are closed. They tried the door and no luck. She looked around the window and said, At least they could put up a sign stating they are closed and why. Too bad, we were looking for to eating here.

The floors were filthy. It was easy to tell they had not been scrubbed or even swept in a lonnnng time.That made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. The toilet was also nasty. I won't eat there again.

Somebody tell me what am I eating?? I ordered brisket pho and it looks like fat pho?? And they gave me cilantro instead of basil leaves. The lemon is a hybrid mix of orange/lemon flavor so it doesn't accent the broth at all the way it's supposed to. For $13 a small bowl I'm not impressed with Vermicelli. I had to return that bowl . Switched to rare steak. I asked for water and I heard the faucet running (the water out here is not all that great and we're not supposed to consume it, you can cook with it if you boil it first. .This is not the first time I've been served a bowl of fat from an Asian establishment which pisses me off like they don't think I should know what this meal supposed to look and taste like. I even had to Google my bowl of brisket Pho to make sure I wasn't trippin because they tried to tell me that brisket had fat on it. Not in any photo I saw had fat hanging off the meat slices.
