Tractors Classic American - Jackson

We have always liked tractors, but sometimes do not have the time to get a table because it is a popular place and quite small. Last night we were lucky to sit right away. Our meals, my Harvest Melt Burger and his Amberbock Barbecue Chicken were both delicious. Prices are quite reasonable, especially in the current inflation phase. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was good.

Everything was so delicious! We had Spinach artichoke dip and chips. The Tortilla chips were freshly made. I had the fruit and poppyseed salad with crispy chicken. Fresh chicken and fruit. My husband had a salad with perfect homemade croutons. Not too crunchy but yet not too soggy. The kids mac and cheese was also freshly made, not an after thought like most restaurants. All the staff were nice and attentive. Not a bad thing I can say.

Food was great all except for the green beans. Somehow they were rubbery and bland. The sandwiches were great but the fried catfish was over-mealed. Very dry. Tight quarters and you have to go in and around the bar side to get to the dining side. Waitress was great but overworked. She said they were down a waitress for the day.

We love this restaurant! The food awesome and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Great atmosphere! Reminds us of the Cheers restaurant and bar environment!

First time there. Nice place. The food was awesome. The steak was so tender and tasted amazing. Will definitely be going back.
