Parking at the hotel were limited to only guests and our cars were protected by a gate that required a code to enter.Although this is a old hotel, I feel like they did their best to accommodate people with various disabilities by providing ramps, elevator access and free standing shower. My room was small but it worked great for me. We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the flower garden. They offered a towel warmer, and I really enjoy that during my stay. The complementary breakfast taste amazing.Hope this review provides you with enough information for you to consider staying at this hotel.Nearby activities: Hotel staff was knowledgeable about different events that were occurring near the hotel as well as providing guide books for other local attractionsSafety: I didn’t have to worry about my car, being broken into because of the gate they providedWalkability: You were able to walk near restaurants located in the downtown area as well as clubs. But it hot during the summer so might not be best
This is an interesting little gem! The bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. There are many historical areas around, and great food places just a couple of blocks away, all within walking distance. Some portions of the hotel have been upgraded, but there 's still an old charm to it.I especially love the gated parking lot and didn 't feel nervous about my car at all.I had to come back and make an edit: the breakfast was absolutely wonderful! We 've travelled a lot, and we eat a lot of hotel scrambled eggs which are bland, pale, and just.... blah. If you 're staying the night here, you 'd better not pass up the opportunity for the breakfast here! The eggs are especially delicious! THEN you go outside to the beautiful courtyard! I can 't believe how lovely it is here!
Lovely old hotel, convenient to the excellent Civil Rights Museum across the street. We had a two-level suite, unfortunately only one night but wished we could have stayed a second night. A special shout out to Princeton at the front desk who was extremely pleasant and helpful.
We happened across this spot while road tripping. We needed a last minute place to stay and they happened to have an availability. Steven so graciously greeted us when we finally arrived at midnight. The building is full of character and the people are warm and inviting! I felt very comfortable while staying here: almost like staying at a glamorous friend's home My only critique is I would prefer the bedding to be a bit more soft/plush. But overall my husband and I love this place and we absolutely will be staying here again next time we are in town!!
I came here for lunch and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the
