The interior offers school desk type seating or cases of empty bottles stacked just to the right height for a place to rest while waiting for your order. The interior was filled with customers waiting for their “made to order” burgers. The menu is only available to describe the different types of burgers. No other pages are prepared. There is a cooler from which to choose a drink with a variety of chips nearby. This is NOT a fast food joint. The burgers are made by a cook (owner) in the order in which they are placed. And many, many burgers are ordered here. There are some employees who help with the order and help with the completion of the burgers. The meat is fresh and loose. No compact, finished stock here... the cook breaks the amount of hamburg meat ordered and cooks it right in front of you on his grill. I must say I was skeptical because the small place is very, very causal and no gloves were used in preparing the burgers. A lot of hand atomizers were used. As a nurse, I know how bad it tastes on my fingers. I have just read on the other day, where we Americans have “sanitized” our belly into an inability to fight from normal bacteria. But I have digressed... When my burger was delivered to me with all the fixes, I went outside, pulled the papers back and bite into the first burger I've ever had, that was too hot for me to eat! I guess I've never had a burger right from the grill. I must say that the bungalow has been roasted for perfection, the meat is perfectly cooked and very delicate. The tomatoes, peppers, salads and onions were very fresh with the correct amount of salt and pepper. I was in LOVE with this simple, delicious to the last bite, hamburger. This won't be my last flock burger.
I have passed this place 1000 times (real) and never stopped. Man I was DUMB! This place is a must go burger joint. Do not expect frying and you may need to eat in your vehicle, but every bite is worth it.
One of the best burgers I've ever had, and certainly the most unique operation throughout the country. They're just giving you a burger! No plate, no pocket, no frits, and no one needed. What a wonderful place!!
If you want a good old-fashioned burger that is directly made and served without ruffles, go to Herd Burgers. But bring cash, they don't take cards and expect nothing but pure great food. Serve filled soft drinks from an old-fashioned cooler, chips from the shelf on the wall, and seats are extremely limited. Trust me, the burgers are worth it.
Quite possibly the best burger I have ever eaten! And I am not just saying that because it has my last name on the sign, lol!
