Pilgrim Cafe - Jaca

Pilgrim Café is located right next door to the citadel, just metres from its entrance, so it's bound to be a popular place for a coffee and a snack. It's also right next to the main road so the surroundings are not that salubrious. The service for painfully slow and then what arrived what wrong. Ordering a café solo, I was delivered a café americano. Asking for a tostada with oil and salt, I received a standard slice of cold bread with a small pot of oil and no salt. All for just under 7 euros. Not good enough. Sorry.

The interior looks very nice. I took a table and was told that as I’m only one I should sit at the bar. He begrudgingly let me stay at the table. The hamburger I ordered was served on a cold dry bun.... not toasted as is usual. The water glass was filthy and he wasn’t happy when I asked for another.

I enjoy sitting outdoor and letting the kids run in the cuidadela. The serve tapas, lunch, dinner, ice cream. I had several meals there and was never disappointed. Love the setting and building itself. Great location and very reasonable prices.

Comí unos huevos impecables con su yema rica con chistorra espectaculares, nos atendió un camarero joven muy servicial, atento y profesional le tendrían que subir el sueldo y la categoría. Volveré.

El pilgrim no defrauda, tiene una carta muy extensa, y para ir con los críos esta muy bien. Hay alboroto ,el sitio es luminoso y agradable, no reservan pero si vas a una hora prudente 13. 13 30 coges sitio. En general la comida esta hecha con gracias y abundante. Han subido los precios últimamente pero hemos salido a menos de 15 euros, sin postre
