The Generals Sports Bar Restaurant

Great atmosphere. The guacamole and all the shrimp dishes are the best. Ixtapa shrimp is awesome! The General does an amazing job.

We cannot say enough about The Generals. The entire staff are amazing. General and his wife treat everyone like family and they go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. The food is outstanding. From breakfast to dinner. EXCELLENT! My favorite drink is the green margarita. Made with kiwi and green apple. Goes down so smooth and so good!

It's in a new location by Rubens. A much larger space great for catching sports but much more than that it has excellent food I believe some of the best in town!! The chicken wings are outstanding, so is the tortilla soup in my opinion. Both are staples and I spent a lot of time in the area each year.

Very good food in a bar atmosphere. Wife and I both had local steaks with baked potato. Jerry our waiter suggested our meals and they were great. Wish I was watching the Superbowl there tonight. The General's is not to be missed in Ixtapa...

The General's a spot that many American's and Canadian visitors like to gravitate to. The atmosphere is festive. Will usually have some sporting event on tv. All the folks that both hang out here and work here are very friendly and personable, and the food is pretty descent. Worth spending some pesos here.
