Spicy Asian - Ithaca

My favorite. Their sichuan Chinese food is the best you'll find around here, like the Mapo tofu, Sichuan boiled fish 水煮魚 , Double cooked pork 回锅肉 , etc. Don't order the americanized food, like eggrolls, chow mein, or even the wonton soup; it's not very good, but it's not much worse than any of their competition in Ithaca I suppose.

The staff was very kind and the food was authentic! We had spicy sliced-fish (Sichuan), Zhong dumplings and Phoenix with dragon! All of them were 5/5!!! So good with reasonable price (Actually cheaper than other Chinese restaurant with similar quality). The reason I gave 4/5 is because of the cleanliness especially for restroom.

Came here with a large group of people and was impressed with the quality of food that we received. As someone who is asian, the food did feel quite authentic. However, at the end of our meal, we didn’t feel full despite paying over $20 a person. The portion sizes are just too small.

If there is a option of 0 , I would like to give a ZERO! DO NOT COME! Worst experience in Ithaca. The first time , there was a long black hair in the dish, then after 2 minutes, another dish came. How can they cook so fast? I guess they just took that hair out. SUPER salty, it is barely fish slices with the sauce you can buy at any Chinese grocery. Soooooo salty that I have to ask for hot water to make it less salty. They gave me ice water insted. At the end , I asked how should I pay, they said the full price. I paid and gave 80 cents for tip. They denied it was salty, but they did not even try, how did they know? I tried several other restaurants in Ithaca, they were all pretty good. But this one is really really, bad, especially when I told them, it is too salty, no body cares, what they care is money. DONONT come, do not waste your money.
