Purity Ice Cream - Ithaca

I was so excited to see the great selection of vegan aromes at Purity ice until I was inquired and learned that none of my own aromes are vegan, let alone vegetarian. they have all the gelatins in them! and ei! they have some soy-based vegan aromes produced by a retailer, but they are very moderate. the mint was very eggy and had a sick color. the keksteig was in order. I think they should make it clear that none of their ice cream is vegetarian, because that is something most people would never think. why are there gelatine aka ground animal body parts in ice cream? updated by previous review on 2021-08-18

I tried the vegan sojaeis “Triple threat” (chocolate base with keksteig and fudge bits.) I was happy when I went in to see that it was a decently large selection of vegan ice cream, but I found that the taste I tried was sweeter than I like (I am not a health vegan, I had only tasted so much, and I had no taste cream like that) I've finished my cone, and if they really like sweet food, it's the place to go!

The ice is based on soy, with the exception of a mandible milk choice. There's so great milk-free ice out there. but it's not here and it's very expensive.

Before I went vegan, I was a big fan of purity ice cream and came here all the time. I'm so glad they have vegan flavors now! I have a two creative triple threat chocolate chip cookie dough and it was great! the triple threat is a chocolate base with keksteig and brownie bites. I was happy that better than the chocolate chip cookie dough! runiform is expensive, but it was always so. a large nostalgic visit for me and a great place to visit for everyone in ithaca.

Their vegan flavors are OK; they kind of suffer from that general soy-based ice cream flavor/mouthfeel, but are good as shakes.
