Yalla Falafel - Istanbul

Went by this place super hungry. The worker (owner? was smoking a cigarette outside. I asked him if they were open and he said five minutes. I assumed he was on break so I came back in 15 minutes. I asked him if they were open and he told me in 15 or 20 minutes. I said that he just told me 5 minutes and he just shook his head and mumbled something. It was really lame. I went down the block to a Lebanese restaurant, where I honestly had the best falafel that I’ve ever had. The place is called Falafels and the people there were super great insuring me everything was vegan. I guess it all worked out in the end. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-18

[EN] Some of the best falafels I have eaten in Istanbul. You can get extra spiciness for a wrap on request. The staff is very kind and outgoing. I give 4 star because for me there were too many green veggies in the wrap, which have a peculiar taste. I would have preferred to have a greater variety of vegetables. Daję 4 gwiazdki, bo według mnie było za dużo zielonych warzyw we wrapie, które mają specyficzny smak. Wolałabym mieć bardziej różnorodne warzywa.

I love falafel but it's not an everyday food for me. Except for at Yalla, where I could happily eat it for every meal, every day.
