Galata Orfoz Balık - Istanbul

Beautiful restaurant under the Galata Bridge. place for good seafood. we had fish and huge garnels for the main course and several appetizers for our 4 person group. personal friendly and had good English. beautiful view of the river.

Good restaurant where they enjoy in the ground, seafood and other grill dishes. the texture, the smell, the presentation of the food, the atmosphere are fantastic. the location is below the bridge galata that connects karakoy eminonu as they can not go more than 15 minutes to spice bazaar (mısır çarşısı). they will definitely enjoy the coast while watching in free and cruise ships. the price is slightly higher than the standard of restaurants in istanbul; but it is worth it. Finally, the restaurant and the food are clean.

Good food, a little overpriced. It’s all a tourist trap.

We wanted to sit at the table next to the sea side. The waiter let us sit, but the manager said we should sit inside because allegedly it was reserved which turned out false later. Probably because we were speaking Turkish and he made the assumption we didn’t have as much money to spend as the foreign tourists.

You feed next to the sea! it is beautiful, peaceful and the service was great. many fresh fish to choose from. the food was delicious. overall wonderful experience. we went after dinner along the pier and beachfront. it was amazing
