Its a place where you would visit for some special occasion, if you are looking for authentic food may be there are other options around.
A full rate for this amazing restaurant in Old Istanbul<br/ <br/ Once in the area one should never miss this pure gem hidden in the heart of the old city.<br/ From A to Z everything looked perfect at the restaurant and dishes were full of flavors and taste<br/ Staff seemed so enthusiastic and motivated, just looked enjoying what they're doing.<br/ <br/ Istanbul is a nice destination for Lebanese certainly, and Istanbul food and mainly this particular place is just awesome <br/ <br/ Recommended of course
We went to this restaurant with our tourist guide. Although it is in the tourist district it is not one of these places where the tout drags you in from the street. Excellent service, attentive service and not too expensive considering the quality.<br/ The food they served was absolutely fresh ...the hummus, yoghurt dip nd walnut garlic dip..was served with bread..was awesome...<br/ Then they served there delicacy eggplant with saffron rice nd salad...it was absolutely mouth watering..<br/ Then in sweets there was baklava...<br/ <br/ Very elegant and high-quality place with excellent turkish cuisine . Most professional staff, top level service. Surely one of the best restaurants in Istanbul<br/
The interior decor is lovely. External seating is available if you like taxis and trucks driving past within 3 feet of your table, spitting up dust and dirt. The food here is great creative, original, good balance of flavours, well executed with good presentation. This is not a typical Turkish restaurant where the meat is over cooked. Try the goose kebab, sailors pastry and stuffed dried aubergine. Service is variable if not a touch patronising towards women. We were not offered a dessert. But we were happy enough to leave after our main course. They had the temerity to charge service twice, inflating our bill by 12.5%. When challenged, the waiter basically raises his voice as if I were deaf, circling the items on the bill, skipping quickly past the ‘servis’ and ‘cover’ charges. I wouldn’t have minded paying for service if existed. It’s Turkey’s new way of squeezing more out of tourists for less. No one gets paid well in hospitality these days and life is hard enough. Go for the food, sit inside, get the goose kebab, and check your bill.
This is Michelin Star rated restaurant is a great experience with interesting Turkish food, some of which are dishes served to ancient sultans. Great place to explore for you foodie adventurers out there
