Montreal - Istanbul Tuerkiye

Great live music in the form of an acoustic guitarist. They seem to have many drink specials. The atmosphere is cool, and secluded. I don't like the smoking indoors.

The shots were pretty watered down but they were cheap and we were given some free shots.

Friendly atmosphere. Nice music. The prices are affordable (for a tourist). Shooters are perfect. They charge an amount for music. Although the name of the bar is Montreal no Canadian beer is offered. So why this name? It 's not the best bar in Taksim, but I had a great time there despite everything. But it won 't be my must-see bar in Istanbul.

Nice place with live music and service but check your bill before paying. There is always something added hahaha. This is almost normal in Turkey and I dont see the reason for it. I always tip very generously and in cases like this there is no tip. Which is bad since that extra we havent got adds some 10 TL to the bill and I tip at least 50 TL.

Check your bill carefully. A ridiculous music fee of 25 tl per person was added despite not being written anywhere on menu. Atmosphere was lively and prices for drinks are fine
