Przekaż informację zwrotnąI wish our server would've asked if we had been there before. My mother and I opted in for the three course dinner, offered before 5 PM. Well, the food was plentiful. It was too much for two people. Also, the fish that is part of the fish and chips was way overcooked and was extremely dark. My mother ended up getting sick in the middle of the night and I don't doubt that it was from that. I know that you don't often hear of people complaining about large portions, but we could have split it and had a satisfying dinner.
The reception was very concerned that we were satisfied with our seating. In our reservation request we had indicated that we wanted as quiet a location as possible because of hearing issues. They offered us a choice of locations and even turned the radio down without our asking. Our server was very helpful as well. Because the restaurant was fairly full, she was quite busy and sometimes asked other servers to bring things to us so that we did not have to wait. The food was delicious. There were so many appealing choices on the menu that we struggled to decide what to have. The serving size was ample so that we had to request boxes to take some home with us. All in all, a restaurant to which we will return.
The food was very good, standard American fare. The waitress did a good job, the hostess and manager were very welcoming, and the restaurant has a lovely PNW ambiance. I did feel like it was pricey for what we got, such as $4.50 for a glass of iced tea. The fish and chips was several dollars more than what we've paid at other restaurants, too, like Red Robin. That's why I gave Wildfin four stars as opposed to five stars. I would definitely go again with my family, because the food met our expectations, but on the pricey side for standard American fare.
This was our second time dining at this restaurant. The staff were fantastic and we loved the items we chose(harvest salad, fish and chips and Copper River salmon) as much as we did on our first visit a few months ago. I actually sent a message to the restaurant administration asking them to open one of their restaurants in downtown Seattle or along the waterfront. It's so hard to find really good seafood in Seattle for a reasonable price and I think they would be a very welcome addition to our overpriced city.
The menu is full of wonderful things that we want to try. We had garlic and cream shrimp, halibut and fish and chips. All fantastic. The service was first rate and the atmosphere cozy, clean and attractive. This is our new favorite place we'll being family to on special occasions.
