Tantalus - Issaquah

The food here is amazing. It's a bit hidden and doesn't seem as popular as the more prominent restaurants, but that doesn't bother me at all. This spot overlooks a lovely little park. I would definitely return!

When I ordered a bottle of beer and mentioned that we would like separate checks, he responded rudely, saying he would manage it, and then angrily tossed the bottle into the trash, causing debris to fly everywhere. I strongly urge everyone to boycott this place! I will never return, and I certainly won’t recommend it to any of my friends!

The service was completely unacceptable, and the server, who I suspect was also the owner, was not only rude but extremely disrespectful to us ladies. I will definitely not be returning and urge others to stay away as well.

The food is expensive,and there is only a little. We waited for a long time( like 20~25min), there’s only us and no one else in the restaurant, and when we ask the waiter he answered us very impatiently, ” we are a restaurant, not a fast food express “ and so we wait. I’m worried about the food safety, they don’t wear gloves when making, and I saw they squeezing lemon juice on my food without washing their hand. Which is GROSS I don’t suggest this restaurant, find another one. I’m surprised how this place got a 4 star rating
