The Shaftesbury Tavern - Islington

The shaftesbury is fantastic. in the october I had a phone card, which was about a birthday party there, we agreed on a date, I showed up in the night, and they had a whole room on the back with standing, tables, an open fireplace and a dj prepared. they were looking for us all night and we had a rare old time. great selection of beer, great personal, great atmosphere. Five flippin stars.

They have always been for frying lamb with minze sauce and now finally eat in this beautiful pub. papa and the youngest son had the roast beef that was surprisingly ate more than 3/4 of his teller. he is usually a burger/pizza and for him, so much to eat means he enjoyed the roast while his brother ate the nut roast. the highlight is the musician who plays all the Fav tunes on the piano that gives you the feeling to be home with the family. the personal is very friendly. in any case recommend.

Beautiful pub and super friendly staff. sat there on a Sunday and not only a amazing roast, but also some cool live piano tunes. highly recommended!

Went for the Sunday Roast. First week of being meat free and got the nut roast. Girlfriend went for the Cailiflower cheese roast. Both absolutely great. Massive portions. Fantastic service too. Would recommend.
