On Tuesday at 5.30 a.m. to eat with the squeeze in front of a jazz gig in barbican, which is just a few minutes to walk away. a gin tonic two large glasses accompanied by a montepulciano screw white bait appetizer with nets...from leber speck salbei (excellent) and a fish special (also very well preserved) with mixed veg, spinat and mushrooms as side. a pleasant experience and would use again (although the 1st floor toilets need better lighting and signs). personal pleasant and helpful. decent Italian menu (many veneer dishes as well as some specialties and a relaxed feeling for the restaurant. £81 including 10% (their choice) top. 90 minutes spent well.
We ate here after our matinee in barbican. it turned out to be a perfect choice as it is close, but a real family restaurant did not surprise them many loyal regular. the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and eating. was delicious. We'll be back next time we're in this one.
This is good to find as eating is good and they are excellent at providing gluten-free choices. it was delicious, well cooked and excellent worth for london. the service was excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful.
First time visit for my wife and I to the Barbican theatre to see the very entertaining Anything Goes followed by our first time at Baracca where we both enjoyed a first class early evening meal. We had three courses all of which were excellent,...especially the two different fillet steak mains. The service was first rate also with all the staff being extremely helpful, highly efficient and friendly. Not surprising the restaurant was virtually full by as early as 6.30. We will certainly return when next in this area of London.
