Phileas Fogg's - Isle of Wight

I was thrilled to discover a fantastic new restaurant on the island! It's rare to find such a gem! From the moment we contacted them, our experience was delightful. Fiona quickly responded to our reservation request and assured us that our gluten and dairy free needs would be met. We received a warm welcome last night and enjoyed a fantastic meal at a reasonable price. The food was beautifully plated and each dish was delicious and well-balanced. The chef even customized the meal for us and was happy to accommodate our requests. The Indonesian chicken dish was a standout, as well as the creamy parsnip soup and the exquisite beetroot starter. They even went out of their way to find oat milk for our cappuccinos, which we truly appreciated. It's wonderful to see their commitment to minimizing waste and providing fresh, quality food to the island. We can't wait to try their new menu! Looking for a place to celebrate our wedding anniversary while staying near Ventnor, we stumbled upon Le Tour du Monte and it was a fantastic discovery. The food and wine were both excellent, and the service was top-notch. We highly recommend Le Tour Du Monte to anyone who appreciates delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere.

This restaurant has a really good atmosphere and the food was delicious and really well thought out . Tasting menu was well balanced and a perfect amount , well timed and a great price . Definitely want to go back .

If I could have given 10 stars for this restaurant I would have. The food was sublime. Where do I start. At the beginning. The restaurant itself is spectacular. We were very warmly greeted and shown to our table the best table in our opionion) The table was situated at the front. Sally our server made us feel at ease straight away. We were informed when booking that this was a 5 course set menu with a drink included to which the 4 of us were more than happy with. The 5 courses were unique, perfectly executed with flavours that danced in your mouth. I could not pick a favourite. The owners, Fiona and Chef Lloyd are incredible people. Between the 4 of us this week, we have visited The Hut, The George and Smoking Lobster. This restaurant surpassed them all. Seriously good food. We will be back. Thank you so much. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and enjoyed the best 5-course meal we've ever had. It was a delightful surprise and a true foodie's paradise. We will definitely be returning now that we know about this gem. Don't miss out on a chance to dine here if you can!
