Pavillion - Isle of Wight

We took a group of 14 adults with impediments and can no longer praise the staff. the manager was extremely helpful, sorted everything for us and made everyone feel special in our group. a great thank you goes to all the staff who made sure we had a nice afternoon.

I had not experienced a lovely morning at Osborne House since 6 o'clock. It is a must-visit and unique place. I was quite hungry by 1 o'clock. Our host Carolyn understood my craving and served a delicious portion of cod and chips. I also noticed the special treatment given to Victor Meldrew, a dog seeking attention on the terrace. Carolyn made him feel welcome as well, with ease.

A family of seven had lunch before catching the ferry back to the mainland. We were served by two very friendly waitresses, and despite it being very busy due to a football game on TV, we were seated fairly quickly. I ordered the burger, which was quite tasty but unfortunately overcooked, as was the pizza. The nachos were abundant and delicious, as were the chips. Overall, the meal was decent and reasonably priced, but I might try a different restaurant next time I visit Ryde.

I waited for a drink for 50 minutes and when I mentioned the long wait to a staff member, they responded rudely and dismissively, saying they were busy. I decided to give up on my meal at that point and won't be returning. This restaurant is in dire need of some changes in their customer service.

Stumbled across this whilst visiting Ryde and what a find. Fabulous and friendly staff. Food was great and priced fairly. Hygiene and space were well adhered and would really recommend.
