On The Rocks - Isle of Wight

The food and service are excellent here. on a slab of stone at 400 degrees, cook her eating as they want. I recommend the filet steak.

We went on a Monday evening having booked. Lucky we did as it appears to be very popular and was nice and busy. We were served by Sarah who was great and a credit to the business. We opted for the surf and turf meal for 2. The steak was amazing and a very generous serving. The salad and chips were great. Its a great restaurant and we all visit when sailing around the Isle of White.

Lovely experience. Cook your own selection on a hot rock. Lovely modern decor. Very friendly attentive staff who explained how to cook on the rock. We opted cor surf and turf for two. It was such a tender Chateaubriand with scallops and King prawns. All supplied with bottomless fries and Greek salad.A lovely relaxed evening.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from pavement one small step up. Accommodated my table request.

They squeezed our family in despite no booking on a busy bank holiday evening. Amazing service, polite knowledgeable staff. Not the cheapest place to eat but what an experience where you cook your own food to your liking on your own personal hot volcanic rock!
