Angel In The Kitchen - Isle of Wight

We visited the Sir Max Aitken museum with a group and had a fantastic experience. The museum had many unique and historically important pieces. Our guide, Brenda, shared fascinating stories and her own memories about the exhibits and the people they represent. After the museum tour, we had a delicious lunch at the long dining table where famous characters had sat. The paella was superb, with a flavorful roasted vegetable option for vegetarians and a chicken and seafood option that was a delightful mix of chicken, prawns, mussels, calamari, and langoustines. Dessert was homemade brownies with fresh raspberries, which were visually appealing and tasted even better. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional, making our visit the best experience possible. Overall, we had a fantastic time and couldn't find any faults with the experience.

This was to be the climax of our weekend and climax it was. A fantastic setting for a wonderful paella on the balcony. Excellently cooked and beautifully served. I cannot praise Kate White (the Angel in the Kitchen) more. She made the weekend for us.

As we have a house in Spain, we are very critical of paella. In restaurants if you don’t wait a long time for it to come it ain’t freshly cooked. These folk cooked for us at The Max Aitken Museum and I was keen to watch it all coming together on the terrace. Freshly cooked with all the right ingredients and perfectly timed when served.

Mouthwatering menu, beautifully presented food, good atmosphere and helpful staff capped off with some interesting wines and chocolate nemesis! Already making plans to return

During the Pandemic Kate White restaurateur, at the Angel in the Kitchen provided us with a few splendid Bespoke Take-outs for special occasions. All of which were brilliantly easy to minimally prep at home and restaurant quality. Then when my daughter decided to rearrange her previously postponed Marriage within the guidelines (30 guests) with a reception at our family home we needed something really special and Kate come up with a magnificent menu of truly delicious food. It was fully prepared and cooked on- site and served by Kate herself, and loved by all our guests. Kate and husband Jeremy really helped to make this a wonderful day. We can thoroughly recommend Kate, the angel in the kitchen. You will be delighted and Kate is able to take care of any allergies without an issue.
