Subway - ISLE OF PALMS

I'm all for foreigners getting a job, that's awesome, but the people in here don't speak English well at all. They were all pretty nice to me at least but it took longer to order because I had to explain what I wanted and they still got it wrong. If it wasn't for a younger guy my order would've taken even longer. There's no excuse for you to not understand English and be in customer service. Whoever hired them needs a sit down.

We enjoyed polite and prompt service, along with some truly tasty sandwiches! We made a pit stop here on our way to the beach to pick up sandwiches and drinks for lunch. The place was spotless, and the family operating it was incredibly friendly and efficient. I've had my fair share of lackluster sandwiches at Subway in the past, but the ones we had today were fresh and full of flavor. From now on, this specific Subway will definitely be our preferred lunch spot on beach trips.

I wouldn't recommend going in the morning; they open at 9, but it really feels like they should start serving customers at 7. It's extremely frustrating. If I could, I would give them less than one star.

I visited yesterday (Saturday) and again today for a late lunch. They offer some good vegan and vegetarian options. The store is exceptionally clean and well-stocked, especially given the busy weekend atmosphere. It has a relatively new appearance, so I asked how long the current owners had been there, and the gentleman informed me that it's been seven years. It looks much newer or as if it has been recently updated. The man at the counter was very friendly and polite, helping me choose something delicious on both days. I noticed some reviews mentioning concerns about the staff's English-speaking skills, but I had no trouble understanding him at all! The spinach, purple onion, and black olives were particularly fresh, which is important to me since I dislike mushy or stale ingredients. Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted fantastic! The location is just off the IOP Connector, directly across from Harris Teeter, making it an easy walk from the Turtle Sculpture. I will definitely return next time I’m visiting the island!

Exceptional service! I ordered a 6-foot sub for my work crew, and they did an amazing job accommodating all my modifications. Everyone loved it—every single one of the 25 people! Thank you so much. I visited during the lunch rush on the first sunny Saturday of the year, and despite the crowd, they got me taken care of without any issues. We will definitely have you cater our lunch again. Cheers!
