The Edinburgh Castle - Isle of Anglesey

These are rooms attached next to a local bar. To paraphrase the manager, they do not pretend to be something they are not. That being said, it was a pleasant one night while we catch a ferry or train. Easy walk, (once you know which direction from the station). Room was tiny (especially with luggage) including bathroom, but was clean with comfortable beds and good towels. Surprisingly quiet, even with the window open a bit. Wifi was good. Full english breakfast was filling and one of the better ones we've had. The staff, Kelly and manager Sandra were hospitable, friendly and super nice (in a colorful barkeep way...they don't take much gruff, but give a lot of laughter).

Clean room and bedding. Good breakfast cooked fresh and served hot. No evening meal, but the staff and local customers were friendly. The bar reminded me of a social club. Rooms: Small, in need of refurbishment, but clean. Nearby activities: Next to the port entrance. Very convenient. Food drinks: Good breakfast. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5

Basic room. Great place to stay because the staff are very hospitable and the pub has a friendly atmosphere. Short walk to the train and ferry station Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5
