Appeldoorn's Sunset Bay Resort Lake Mille Lacs Lodging

Had a wonderful time with friends in the cabin! It was clean and cozy! We hope to come back in summer!

Great food and beach, but we rented one of their jet ski and Ponton had both damage to them when we got them, but the management said they knew that damage and machines still worked like that? After we finished our holiday, we were charged twice for damage fees without even being told why until we asked for fees. I highly recommend not to rent their equipment because very bad maintenance on equipment and fake fees are placed on you from previous questions.

We loved it. great place. super friendly staff. clean rooms. beautiful beach. amazing sunsets. a lot to do! I wish we were there more days.

Fun for the whole family! The kids were never boring. Dinner at the restaurant was great. Very clean room. We enjoyed the fire pit and the fun water inflatable. Only a complaint is that they seemed very understated. A waitress/bartender on Friday night closing, equal an opening the next morning. Eating took out forever, but obviously not her fault as she ran away her ****. The main office was just one person. Many people in the store and we needed firewood. It was understandably hesitating to leave the store to unlock the wooden box, so we just waited. Appeldoorn?s, we love you and we will be back, but I hope you pay your staff very well! You? the work of what 2-3 people should be, so they should be paid accordingly.

This place is just as described, very family oriented with lots of things to do for everyone that's no extra charge, kayaking basketball bikes to ride or just sit and watch the sunset by the docks. Lots of layouts to choose from for accommodations too. We were in one of the lodges right by the office, it was nice and spacious with a large counter area for food. We have three kids 15, 10 2 and everyone had something to do and a great time. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here and hopefully get one of the cabins on the beach because those look like a great time!
