The Ponds Edge Pub Eatery - Island Pond

This is a lovely restaurant situated in a beautiful location. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the menu offered more than just typical bar food. Our group enjoyed a steak and scallop special, the daily fish fry, and a few burgers, all of which were met with enthusiastic approval. We kicked off our meal with a unique twist: blueberry BBQ chicken wings, which were a delightful surprise. The prices were reasonable, so I highly recommend giving this place a try.

The hospitality was top-notch, and the food was outstanding. The burger was juicy, the cheesesteak was delicious, and the fries were fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the shandy that the waitress recommended and appreciated her kindness in offering me a taste. It was a delightful stop on our journey.

I tried the whole belly clams, and they were outstanding. They were fresh with a delightful coating that enhanced their flavor without overpowering it. The fries were crispy and served hot. My wife ordered the cold lobster roll, which was filled with plenty of meat and didn't have any fillers like lettuce. The roll itself was fresh and had a wonderful flavor that complemented the lobster perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic meal at a reasonable price.

Not good. Bland and greasy. I had the French onion soup which lacked flavor and was WAY too salty and the fish and chips. The fish had a weird batter. Almost like bread crumbs or something. Very little flavor and very very greasy. My stomach was a mess for 2 days after eating here. Very plain and limited menu. I did like the small town atmosphere and the waitress was very nice. Kinda pricey for the quality of the food.

Had our RV at a seasonal campground near by last year and we ate here 10 to 12 times. My family of 5 probably tried everything on the menu and we were never disappointed. Great burgers and seafood. Reasonable prices and a nice quaint small town vibe. Service could be a bit slow at times and they don't take AMEX which annoys me.
