Habanos Cuban - ISLAMORADA

I had read in one of the reviews “hidden gem” I couldn't agree anymore! We were with a family of eight. The children had the Cuban sandwich, I had the fried pig bits, and the mahi-mahi salad, also the Grouper Special. Would definitely recommend. Very delicious.

Diamond in the rough safe. The hotel is located in Marina am Buchtside, crossing the Tavernier Bach Bridge in Islamorada. Not easy to find, but you will be happy when you do. Quiet little place right on the water. Very small and enchanting. has a seat for a maximum of 25 to 30 people. External seats are available. Be ready for rustic fish-hack feeling. Really good Cuban food, but also fresh seafood and all things, pizza! Look at my pictures of what we ordered. Price was very reasonable.

Not just for Cuban food. The seafood is also excellent. And suffer for my celiac disease, you can get salads as well as sandwiches. The best word for this place is Yum!

I visit this restaurant 2-4 times in the summer months. It's my restaurant in the middle keys. Food is always super tasty, service is friendly and efficient, they are reconciled with huge portions. The palomilla steak and grilled chicken breast with Moros/Tostone or white rice/black beans and Maduro are on this diner clamp. I'm limited to 2-4 visits a month because of my waist, otherwise I'd be here every night. It's like home cooking. One of the best Cuban restaurants in Florida. Try their Keylime Pier, it will put you in a food coma! Finish everything with a café cubicle....

What a great place!. My wife and I stopped in for lunch after a morning of fishing. We had great service and food roasted pork w/ rice and beans, fried bananas and some grouper. The food was really good and prices were even better, considering the Keys. Even the restrooms were clean, which is a rarity down in the Keys. Thank you for the wonderful meal we will return soon!
