The best restaurant in Playa Norte!! We went there 3 days in a row and had delicious appetizers (ceviche, octopus) and dinners (tuna steak, octopus, red snapper curry, mahache shrimp). The octopus is AMAZING, cooked so well and soooo flavorful. And they have lots of delicious craft beers and cocktails! I got pisco sours and margaritas but they had so many other great options. The staff is amazing, we will miss them!! Melania was so wonderful and gave us lots of great recommendations. Carlos was also great! And Johnny was awesome- he helped me pick out some beautiful artwork and jewelry from the shop inside. Everything is handmade from local artists! At night they had live music, as well! A mixture of jazz, salsa, top 40, etc. You must come here!! The prices are reasonable, the quality of the food is FANTASTIC, and the staff and service is exceptional!! Thank you to Mario, Melania, Johnny, Carlos, and everyone else. We had sooo much fun! Can't wait until the next time we come back!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you don’t eat at Mahache, you are NOT doing it right. This is hands down the BEST place on the island. Don’t miss the hibiscus margarita and the octopus entree. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
