Swaadisht Foods Royale — Umhlanga

Their paneer makani portion is unreasonable. 8 tiny cubes of paneer and 90% gravy. 2 people cannot share one order of their paneer and what do you do with so much gravy?! Not true value for money in comparison to Thava and Palki Indian restaurants. Also the manager was informed of this review and advised me to go ahead and write it.

The worst Indian food in town. Ordered a paneer curry for 92 rand and it has 8 pieces of tiny paneer. The manager said this is their standard and she said it's fine to give them this negitive review

I liked the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and drinks were tasty! However, the food was not to my liking. The food was overly spiced, even though I asked for mild. Portion sizes were tiny and Ingredients were skimped on, eg mushroom kadai consisted of mainly pepper and onions, hardly any mushrooms. Butter chicken had literally about 5 pieces of chicken cubes and Lamb keema was over spiced and mince was hardly noticeable. Butter naan was dry.
