Vegan and vegetarian restaurant. Always a bliss to go there. With COVID there is limited access to the area, they have handled the situation excellently!!

We used to frequent this place however the manager was very rude and did not want to justify the limited vegetarian food suppliers — She mentioned that they only sold products that she approved of and not based on customer demand!! That does not make sense and smells like collusion with suppliers — Please review and revert.

Govindas is a restaurant attached to the Hare Krishna temple in Chatsworth, Durban. My mother was raised in Chatsworth and she used to bring us to this place often when we used to visit family, to teach us about different religions and because she loves vegetarian food. This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants/takeaways I have ever been to! It’s situated under the Hare Krishna Temple. Delicious food with friendly service! A really peaceful and beautiful place to eat!
