Seems like a popular place to dine with the comfortable adjacent parking lot. The site is well maintained and friendly people all around. Reservations are taken when entering, and you have a selection of indoor or outdoor food, a text message is sent to your mobile device when your table is ready. We sat comfortably with a window. Love the whimsical color lighting and decor. We ordered to share the guacamole as an appetizer (4 pots, and it was fresh. I chose the blackened Cajun chicken with 2 sides, black beans and Joses rice. The marmalade-like special sauce filled the Cajon chicken nicely. My Husband Order: Chicken and Beef Enchiladas on a bed of melted cheese, black beans, Joses rice And grilled avocado with mango salsa (for both of us, all very delicious. The unlimited chips and salsa were a bonus We were served relatively at a good pace, considering the waiting time to come and how crowded it was. Our server, Emilia was great, her recommendations were excellent, her sunny personality brightened the atmosphere. It is rare to find a place where you have all three; Service, food and atmosphere so well balanced. It was such a fun experience that I saved it in my restaurant folder :

Food was delicious and came on time and nice and hot. My drink was at the top. I did it just before dinner. My waitress was very helpful. I love it when they always come to the table to ask, everything is fine. The best time to go on Wednesday before 5:00.

What a fantastic evening my wife and I had! The Rock Steak with the secret sauce (I forgot the name... I remember the word Bowie on the name of the plate was the best meal I ever had a restaurant. It came with one side of shoe-running pommes that were big (better than regular pommes that are usually only there and a grilled avocado with mango salsa above. Amelia, our server, was *excellent*, and her recommendation to get the secret sauce on the page was wonderful advice. Jose Tejas never disappointed, and this time it was beyond and beyond!

Okay, if you're in the mood for TexMex, this is definitely the place to go! FAIR WARNING: The waiting time is sometimes long, depending on the time you reach there (15-40 min. That said I had the salmon tacos and they were delicious. The salmon was well cooked and the mango salsa has added a refreshing taste to the meal. My friends ordered the steak with the Tejas rice and they loved it absolutely. Beans with cheese were also delicious and the size of meals were good for the price. For those of us who love Margheritas and Sangria, this place has a variety of options. I would definitely recommend it for friends and family.

If I could give this place 10 stars , I would. We came in on a Monday afternoon and the place was packed for a reason. Everything we ordered had so much flavor. There was nothing we did not like. You get a lot for your buck. Our customer service was top notch as well.
