Village Cafe - ISCHIA

The owner Antonio was an absolute dream, he could not have been more hospitable and highly recommend visiting here. Friendly faces, affordable drinks and a perfect way to start your trip here in Ischia!

We were goin to the winery. Realised it wasn't open till 5pm so had 2 hours to kill. This place looks like a shop from road but actually, a diamond find. We were gasping having walked in sun and ordered a large beer and prosecco. €7 in total. Bargain! Later, I had Aperol Spritz and that was only €4. The only tiny thing that would give it an extra star was there technically was no outdoor space. Its covered with a canopy but if i am honest, i was glad of shade and did have a sun spot to stick my legs in! Toliet was spotless. Bar man chilled and helpful when I was trying to pronounce things : If this bar was in Manchester, at these prices....It would be my local!

To go to this restaurant , we rented a scooter with my friend . Difficult to find. We just arrived in the square ... disappointed. We were hoping for a nice view . Nothing ! It is not a restaurant but a pub . I will not have to follow tripadvisor. Please Put the stars to those who deserve it!

Caro Antonio, sono ormai più di 10 anni, sempre una conferma. passione e professionalità. posto semplice, personale cordiale, ottima scelta di ingredienti e cucina è in cima. cocktail sapientemente preparato da antonio con cura e amore. sempre fedele.
