Thirsty Lion Gastropub - Irving

Okay, so the Mac and cheese wasn't great. It was too sweet for my taste. However, the Reuben was fantastic. I'm giving this place five stars because of my Reuben and the service. The service here is amazing. The place is packed and it runs like a well oiled piece of machinery. We waited for nothing. The ambiance is great and I'm loving the music. From Neil Diamond and Eric Clapton to Van Halen and Bobby Brown. I can't recommend this place enough. Gotta go, Sweet Caroline is playing....

Attentive service. Knowledgeable wait staff- made excellent food recommendations. I had the smoked chicken salad and it was terrific. The wine took a little time to arrive because the staff was changing the keg- but staff let me know immediately about delay.

This was a wonderful experience! BJ was an excellent server! The food was amazing we had the prawns on the app, I had the kimichi pork bbq fried rice. Mom got a Cuban sandwich and step dad got the loaded nachos. Definitely making another trip back.

We sat outside and enjoyed hearing the band from across the street. Our server was great and the food was above average for the price paid. Worth a visit!

Our server didn't keep us informed that the bar was running behind. Our server also didn't come and check on our table after the food came out and we had some requests that we couldn't put in nor could we order another round of drinks. One person in our party made the manager aware of the poor service and it didn't make a difference to our server. Our server never apologized for the lack of attention to our table. The food was just average at best. I wouldn't return and would choose another restaurant around the Toyota Music Factory venue if I were to return for another event.
