However, while in Texas, I was on the hunt for Halal chicken wings and decided to give it another shot. This time, the restaurant was not located within a gas station convenience store. The person behind the counter assured me that the meat was Halal and pointed to a Halal certificate. Normally, that would suffice, but given my previous experiences, I inquired about where they sourced their meat. The staff member didn’t know, so he called the owner for clarification. The owner arrived in less than a minute and showed us the freezer filled with boxes of various types of chicken, all with Halal certification and marked as being slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines. He further explained that they do not serve any products from the KKC franchise that contain pork, like corn dogs or beans that might be made with pork (he even showed us their bean packaging, which had a warning). He mentioned that there are 2600 KKC locations, and most do not serve Halal food, with many offering pork-based items. We finally tried the wings and roasted chicken, and both were crispy and delicious. I hope this review helps anyone looking for Halal chicken!

I ordered the chicken tenders and potatoes. The meat was good—large, juicy pieces that were well-cooked, just as I requested. However, the bread was mediocre; it lacked crispiness and flavor. The potatoes were disappointing and had a texture and taste reminiscent of instant potatoes, and there wasn’t much gravy for the serving. Overall, I would rate it a 4, but the interior of the restaurant is quite dingy and in disrepair. The quality of the meat is solid, but the sides and the ambiance are lacking.

I really liked this place when it first opened. However, lately, the fries have been tasting as if the frying oil hasn't been changed in a long time; they are bitter and off-color. Today, we tried the mashed potatoes, but they had a bleach-like smell. I hope they can improve their side dishes because the chicken seasoning is excellent.

From 3 June this place is half and very tasty! The chicken zinger burgers and drumsticks beside the fried foods are indeed crispy and worth the bite! The various flavored sauces are also great. I often come here and you should try.

Great service great food, halal chicken if you ever need good halal chicken this is the right place, it?s halal and fresh and hot.. the biscuits are SO GOOD. You should come here for halal chicken.. try the biscuits! Oh and for a family of 5 thirty bucks is so good.
