I've tried several Thai restaurants, but Thai Cafe remains my favorite. It is a bit on the expensive side, but the delicious taste is worth it.
Great restaurant featuring delicious Thai cuisine and welcoming service. The entrance can be somewhat tricky to locate if you approach from the wrong side, so be sure to refer to the attached photo for guidance.
We have orders chicken padsew noddles for dinner and you can check pic below..I wouldn’t recommend this place and I will never go back again..
The Sai Ua (a northern style Thai sausage) was delicious. It’s my favorite and I don’t find it on menus in So Cal often. Get it!The service was perfectly fine but lacked the Thai hospitality I’m used to. Not a big deal especially great for introverts. They didn’t have condiments on the table (dry chilis, sambal, prik nam pla, etc) but they did give mall containers of prik nam pla when requested. Those were literally the only tiny criticisms.Pad ke mao was great and noodles weren’t clumped together (a pet peeve of mine)Yellow curry had great flavorBeef satay had a deep marinated flavorFried rice is always a safe bet and the group enjoyed the mixed protein. It was completely full by the time we were eating so expect a small wait.
Always like the food taste here. As every other restaurants, the price went up dramatically. Tom Yum Soup is $20 for mostly mushroom, tomato pieces and a few shrimps. They were doing OK during COVID with take outs so I don't know if this big price hike is really necessary. Ordered 3 dishes and paid $60 with a tip.
