Royal Khyber - Irvine

We ate here for New Year's Eve. The food is good, prices not outlandish, and surroundings pleasant. My only complaint, an odd one perhaps, is that the waitstaff is overly attentive-it isn't urgent to remove plates especially when some at the table are still eating-and the meal felt rushed, people like to linger on special occasions, don't bring the entrée the second the appetizers are finished.

It is our family tradition to have Indian Food on Christmas Eve and it had been several years since spending it at Royal Khyber. So we were excited to go back this year. Our dinner was amazing, the service perfect and atmosphere warm and festive. We will definitely go back again.

We eat here at least twice a year. Great Indian food, and the servers are very nice and attentive. They decorate beautifully for the Christmas season, and the food is delicious. It's fairly expensive, so be prepared for that.

Hosts were so gracious! Used to come here quite a bit pre Covid and food was always so flavorful and good. Very happy to return for a delicious meal! My husband and son thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank. Samosas delicious and chicken tikka masala so good. As was the tandoori chicken. A lovely evening and we will be back!

The staff at Royal Khyber are friendly and cordial. The ambiance of the dining area is very good, the atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. The facility review would have been 5 stars but the chair arm at our table was loose/broken and needed attention. The food quality was good and wait staff were attentive without being overly intrusive. Overall a great choice for an Indian indulgence.
