Plaka Restaurant - Irvine

Love this place! This is an old-fashioned family dinner with great food, and really friendly service. You have an extensive menu, including many Greek specialities. I only had the most incredible cattle shedaki. They use a better beef than most places, and preparation is impeccable. I tried every souvlaki in Buffalo. Here's the gold medal! The facilities are clean and totally child-friendly, but it is nice and quiet. Servers and kitchen staff are really nice people who treat their customers well, and seem really proud of their work. Lots of parking, too. I have nothing but good things to say about Plaka. I'll be back!

What a great family restaurant! There's something for everyone. My family has become regular, we live in the neighborhood, and the children love it too.

I have to try! My first culinary experience in The Plaka was a great one. After that, I went back and still need to be disappointed. From food to waitresses to relaxed atmosphere, The Plaka is the best choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!

I dont know why anyone would write anything bad about plaka. I went online to get their number and noticed the bad reviews, so I felt inclined to write something. I absolutely love the food at plaka everything tastes so fresh. unlike other greek restaurants where you feel like your food is cooked in grease. There chicken in their souvlakis is great as well as their beef. the breakfast is incredible everything tasted homemade like you mom cooked it at home i love it here.
