Maizuru Sushi Bar Japanese Restaurant

This is a really good neighbourhood type sushi bar. family friendly service, high-end ingredients used. they go for their special home rolls. they are all worth, some are really delicious.

Overall great experience and service and great location. I live in LA and found this sushi place when I came over to Irvine. The servers were attentive and great at serving. The rolls that I got were Eel Special Roll, Garlic Albacore Roll, Irvine Roll, Baked Spicy Langostino Roll, Harbor Roll which were all amazing : But my favorite are Irvine Roll and Garlic Albacore Roll. <3 Each roll was unique to this sushi restaurant and the flavors hit the spot. Their fish are fresh which you can see from the colors especially the sashimi and poke salad were really goood. The tempura were well fried : The teriyaki on the chicken teriyaki is made in the house which was a classic. Last, but not least seafood teppanyaki really complimented the meal with cooked stir fried vegetables. : I will definitely take my friends and family again when I visit Irvine <3

Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, food value was not so good. $17 bento had dry teriyaki chicken and fish was bland. Salad did not seem fresh, perhaps too long in the refrigerator uncovered. At that price I was expecting better food quality...

I enjoy the sushi here and it's so comfortable. When I leave the job, I call in an order and until I am there, it is ready to pick up and it is perfect every time! The staff is very friendly and the food is always consistent. A place to check out!

Very average, edmame was cold, gurkensalat was mad and returned. Sushi rolls were good. crunch roll, iiban roll well. samuri roll was bad. there are only 4 pieces moshee that cannot be picked up. immediately comes apart in a plop on the plate. the people were nice. a little expensive for food quality.
