Johnny's Real New York Pizza - Irvine

"I’ve attached a photo of the pepperoni pizza I tried, and honestly, it was disappointing. There are about twelve pepperonis on the pizza, the cheese is excessively thick, and the crust is overcooked, falling apart when you try to pick up a slice. It feels like someone who had never seen a pizza before was asked to describe one and then forced to make it. I live in the Quail Hill apartment homes right next door, but after this experience, I’ll be driving further for my pizza. This is really unacceptable."

If you're searching for quality local pizza, you might want to consider other options. I ordered a pizza from this place last week, and unfortunately, the crust was undercooked, the cheese was separating, and I suspect they used expired sauce. I was truly surprised by the lack of care in their pizza preparation. We brought the pizza back the next day, but the staff was uncommunicative and seemed unphased by our complaints about the poor quality. I would recommend avoiding this place; you're better off going to Pizza Hut.

Visiting and doing some grocery shopping and to pick up dinner. Got text pizza ready! Got there 10 mins more and others coming in to hear this too. How can you ruin pizza? No flavor at All felt like I was eating plain cheese and tomato sauce. Staff was rude too!!!

I’m not joking here, this is truly the worst pizza i’ve ever had. and I’m not from new york or anything. it doesn’t take much to mess up a pizza for me. but this place did it. wow. it seemed only half baked, not even warm, and the postmates guy only took 5 mins to get to my house. seriously, it was room temperature. cheese still pure white and not fully melted at all. floppy unbaked crust. truly not good man. get any other pizza.
