Jinbei - Irvine

The lunch combos are amazing! The quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. To take advantage of the limited combos, it's best to arrive early. We lined up about 15 minutes before opening, which was perfect for being among the first to be served on a weekend. The servers were quick, and the presentation of the dishes was impressive. I really enjoyed my meal and look forward to returning soon.

This restaurant is super tasty! It's small inside, so there tends to be a bit of a wait, but it wasn't too long for us. We arrived at 1 PM and they close at 2 PM. It's easy to order, as you just write down what you want and note the time for your order. The seaweed salad wasn’t as plentiful as I expected; it had a lot of other ingredients, and some of them were a bit bitter. However, they do offer complimentary refills on the miso soup, which was a nice touch!

Went last Thursday on a laune with a friend and can not believe that we have such a nice restaurant in irvine. service, quality and presentation were nothing less amazing. looks like they're full of time. we ordered the orange mussel and seaweed w miso vinegar (so aromaful,) split the 5 species of sashimi, and ordered two pastas-mentai cream and uni. the fish quality here is extremely good; hamachi (amberjack, beautiful chic) and the hot (scallops, tasted very clean) were my favorite. I have hunted Mentaiko cream for the longest time; I am pasta and pasta in la, but now that I know jinbei’s is just as good I am happy that I don’t have to travel so far. portion size for pasta is really good! pastas were al dente and the cream was nice and light-not heavy; mentaiko and uni taste was all there. total was about $40ish/person on the check. definitiw will come back, probably sushi to dinner this time.

What a fantastic sushi restaurant! We visited for lunch a week ago and returned for dinner, and both meals were outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made our experience even better. We're thrilled to have a local sushi spot like this. If you're in the area and craving Japanese food, we highly recommend checking it out!

There was already a line before 5pm Saturday, but everyone in the line was seated when they opened. We ordered sushi from their daily special menu which included premium sea urchin from Santa Barbara and fresh fishes from Japan. Everything tasted great.
