Grater Grilled Cheese - Irvine

No taste. Something might be missing a good sauce! I tried the Philly cheese steak and the grilled cheese with avocado for the last time. Both have no taste.

The Philly grilled cheese is ridiculously delicious and addictive. The fries are perfect, like their ketchup. It is on the pricier side, at least by UberEats... and there are very small frits in every order. Just 5 stars if they were a little more generous with the Fritten.

Mom! I ate a delicious grilled cheese with lobster. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I'm Pescatarian, I'm just eating seafood. They had choice for vegans and accommodation for all your health wellness requirements. Even the customers in the store were friendly to us. It is very clean in the restaurant and your food comes hot and cheesy! Many different selections of burgers and other foods as well. I love you more grilled cheese???

No flavor. Poor execution of a great concept. Out of my entire party of 4, everyone stated their grilled cheese sandwiches had no flavor, including the kid who is practically raised on grilled cheese! (no, they don't have COVID). The sourdough was overwhelming. The cheese tasted like nothing. This may be a sign of a cheap cheese, or it's pre-shredded from the vendor. Not sure. I ordered their number 1 best-seller, the Lobster Grilled Cheese and I had to kick it back for its fishy taste (which is a sign the fish was sitting around too long). They were kind enough to replace my sandwich with their number 3 which was the Avocado Grilled Cheese, but again, cheese was flavorless and the avocado tasted bitter. This is another sign the avocado was sitting around too long. Their tomato soup tasted like chemicals, so it may be from a can. The bill for 4 was $70, like holy smoke!

This was an enjoyable find. The restaurant is small, charming and clean. The service was friendly and fast. I'm guess during lunch hour it's really busy. I ordered a normal grilled cheese sandwich, side garden salad, and a soda. I like the natural soda selection. The salad was totally created by someone who seems to know just how I like it.... With tons of croutons and cheese. The sour dough grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. Cheesy gooey everything you would dream of in a grilled cheese sandwich.
